During our recent visit to OCC, Professor Grieb gave us a sneak peek of what would soon become the Micron Simulation Lab. The space, which previously housed a bookstore, was filled with debris and holes but will soon be transformed into a state-of-the-art technical lab. This is all thanks to the collaboration between Micron Technology and Onondaga Community College!
As a hands-on learning facility, students will have the opportunity to witness how chips are made and gain a clear understanding of what it's like to work as a mechanical engineer, whether at Micron or any other engineering firm.
